Vice Chairman, Emigrant Bank
Bill Staudt is a Vice Chairman of Emigrant Bank and a Partner at Emigrant Capital Corp. Mr. Staudt has broad experience as both a private equity sponsor and an operating manager, with specific expertise in leverage buy-out and real estate transactions. Before joining Emigrant, Mr. Staudt was a founding Managing Partner of Environmental Capital Partners, a private equity firm funded by Emigrant. Previously, Mr. Staudt was a Managing Partner of Hamilton Capital Partners, LLC, which sponsored successful leveraged buy-outs of middle-market companies in the United States and Sweden. Mr. Staudt also has substantial management experience, most recently as President & CEO of Sirit, Inc., a publicly traded RFID company, the acquisition of which he led in 2002. Formerly, Mr. Staudt served as President of Hamilton Development Corp., which developed a variety of real estate projects, including four properties in partnership with SONY Corporation of America. He serves on the Board of Directors of Nicklaus Companies, LLC and Fiduciary Networks, LLC. Mr. Staudt received a B.A. in economics from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
